Shure Beta 52A
The Shure Beta 52A is a dynamic microphone purpose-built for kick drum and other low-frequency sources, with a response tailored to deliver both low-end weight and clear attack. Its modified supercardioid pattern maintains high gain before feedback and strong off-axis rejection, which helps keep nearby drums and stage wash out of the channel. A built-in locking swivel stand adapter with integral XLR connector holds position even inside a kick drum, and a hardened steel mesh grille protects the capsule under touring conditions.
