Shure Beta 98D/S
The Beta 98D/S is a miniature condenser microphone built specifically for close-miking snares, toms and percussion. It uses a supercardioid capsule on a flexible gooseneck with the A98D rim mount, giving high gain-before-feedback and strong rejection of nearby drums and cymbals. An in-line RPM626 preamplifier and detachable cable are supplied, and the cartridge is interchangeable with an optional cardioid capsule.
