Shure SM58
The Shure SM58 is the industry-standard cardioid dynamic vocal microphone, used for live performance, sound reinforcement and studio work. Its frequency response is shaped for voice, with a brightened midrange and bass rolloff that reduce proximity boom, while the uniform cardioid pattern isolates the singer and suppresses background noise. A built-in spherical wind and pop filter, pneumatic shock-mount system and steel mesh grille give it the durability that made it a touring default.
Available from Sound Creations Ltd Rwanda in Kigali, with manufacturer warranty and local after-sales support.
